We have so much to share with you about this engagement session! First, let's talk about this awesome couple. Hannah and Brandon found out about us through their friends: Beth & Sam! We love when couples refer us to their friends! Hannah & Brandon also won one of our free couple sessions for Valentine's Day! By winning that session and receiving their engagement session by booking their wedding with us, they get TWO great opportunities to take photos and will have plenty to display at their wedding and in their home.
So, for their first session with us, we met at Como Zoo & Conservatory. This is one of our favorite locations in the Twin Cities to do sessions at. Como Conservatory is the perfect location for portraits if you're looking for a tropical feel but stay close to home.
While the inside is simply stunning, the exterior of Como Conservatory is a fantastic backdrop for portraits as well! Honestly, you just can't go wrong with selecting Como for portraits - the surrounding area is so picturesque!
Back to focusing in on Hannah and Brandon... These two are so clearly in love. They were completely natural in front of the camera and the session felt very intimate because of that. Natural moments and candids were so easy to capture! After walk through Como Conservatory, we headed over to Como Lake (not to be confused with Lake Como in Italy). Como Lake is one of our favorite lakes and we used to walk around it regularly when we lived in St. Paul. We made our way to the dock and enjoyed some time along the water and amid the beautiful greenery.
