Patty and Noly's story began at work. As they worked together frequently and learned more about one another, they became friends and later, much more. They bonded over their love of Disney and the importance that family held in both of their lives. Early on, they found their lives integrated together in meaningful ways and formed a strong connection.
On a warm morning in August, Willow Heights Mansion was filled with a buzz and commotion. As final preparations were placed around the venue, Patty and Noly got ready in separate suites on the upper floor of the mansion. Friends and family filtered between the rooms and the excitement grew as each minute passed.
As Patty's final touches were put into place, she glided down the grand staircase for a first look with her first love: her father. Both father and daughter wiped tears away as they embraced for the first time on Patty's wedding day.
The temperature rose and the sun beat down over the manicured lawn overlooking the rolling hills. As the ceremony began, their guests were filled with emotion and excitement. The pinnacle of moments: Patty and her father's walk down the aisle. Patty and Noly chose to see each other for the first time on their wedding day as she walked down the aisle. Noly certainly was not the only one with teary eyes.
As they shared heartwarming vows and exchanged their rings, it felt this moment was meant to be. They not only incorporated wedding traditions like vows and exchanging rings, but also received family blessings and included jumping the broom to seal their union and exit their ceremony.
To get the party started, Patty and Noly followed their wedding party's grand entrances and began their first dance. Combining a slower, more "traditional" first dance song with an upbeat and driven song to encapsulate their personalities and love.
Following their first dance, Patty and Noly shared special dances with the parents in their lives. These dances reflected how they hold family as a strong value within their relationship.
In the beautiful dinner area, lanterns with characters from various Disney movies were placed on each table. Patty and Noly's love of Disney is so vast, he proposed at one of their favorite places in the world: Aulani Disney Resort in Ko’Olina. Naturally, Disney had to be involved in their wedding day as well.
Friends and family shared kind words and recounted stories as they toasted to the newlyweds before they headed to cut the cake.
As the music began, guests flooded the dance floor and surrounded the newlyweds with love and dancing.
As the sun slowly sank behind the rolling hills, Patty and Noly took a break for some fresh air and portraits. Their fun-loving personalities shone as they took in a few moments of quiet together before returning to the dance floor.
