Andrea and Phil met us at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis, MN for their couple portraits! They tied the knot about a year ago and wanted to update their photos together since adding pup, Ollie, to the family.
Lake Nokomis is our all time favorite park in Minneapolis, so it was such a treat to capture these photos while in town. The serene water and cool breeze made for a delightful morning at the lake together. It was also Ollie’s first time on the beach!
As with any family portraits we photograph, we think it’s important for photos of just Mom and Dad to be captured too. This applies to dog parents! Ollie watched carefully from the car as we snapped a few photos next to the parking lot at the end of their session.
We love that Andrea, Phil, (& Ollie) took time to capture life right now. 2020 may be an odd year for many, but others, it’s been a year of exciting changes that ought to be celebrated and remembered, too.
