Lindsey & Jake’s wedding is a timeless treasure. From their ceremony at the church that Lindsey grew up at, to the beautiful portraits at the lake that Lindsey grew up running around. Lindsey & Jake’s love story was shared beautifully throughout their wedding day and it was a pleasure to capture it!
Lindsey & Jake met in college, while both attending Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon. While their initial meeting happened there, it was not until Jake had finished school and Lindsey neared the end of her time there that their journey together began.
The couple reconnected over social media and went out for coffee - which always means it’s meant to be, right?! All good things always begin with coffee! Coffee eventually led to more dates and they knew from early on that this was something good. Something worth pursuing for forever. And that leads us to their forever… August 25, 2018, Lindsey & Jake said “I do” at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Winona, MN.
Their wedding party included friends and family from all walks of their lives; siblings, grade school friends, college friends, and even the groom’s dad!
Now, we can’t forget this part of their story: the proposal. Jake enjoys adventure and is always looking for something new for them to do, so that’s just what he did for the proposal. Jake found a way to get them to the top of one of Milwaukee’s skyscrapers where he popped the question over a beautiful sunrise. (Guys who are reading this, this is how you do it…)
