Perched above the Pacific Ocean, Mori Point has long been one of our favorite hidden gems along the Northern California coast. With sweeping views, rugged cliffs, and winding trails overlooking the water, it offers the perfect balance of breathtaking scenery and quiet intimacy. As the two made their way along the trail, it seemed like just another beautiful afternoon taking in the coastline together. But Matt had something much bigger planned.
When they reached the perfect overlook, everything slowed. Against the backdrop of the Pacific, Matt got down on one knee and asked one of life's most important questions.

Fellow hikers and visitors who happened to be enjoying Mori Point quickly realized what was happening, and as soon as Keelan said "yes," congratulations echoed across the overlook. After taking a few moments to soak it all in, we wandered the viewpoint together for a relaxed mini engagement portrait session, documenting the excitement that naturally follows such a life-changing moment. Those first few minutes after a proposal are unlike anything else: filled with laughter, disbelief, countless glances at a brand-new ring, and the quiet realization that a new chapter has officially begun.
Mori Point continues to be one of our favorite proposal locations in the Bay Area for exactly this reason. It offers dramatic coastal views without feeling crowded, making it an incredible setting for couples looking for a proposal that's both unforgettable and deeply personal.
