For Olivia and Nick, San Francisco has always been more than a place; it is filled with memories that chart their journey into a lifelong partnership. They first met as college friends, but by senior year, their friendship blossomed into something more. After moving to the Bay Area, they began to lay down roots in a city that quickly became their home. When they relocated back to Atlanta during the pandemic, the Bay Area still held a piece of their hearts. It was only fitting that Nick proposed on a trip back to Napa, where so much of their story had unfolded. Now, having returned to San Francisco to begin the next chapter together, Olivia and Nick chose to marry at the SF Botanical Garden—a place filled with their favorite memories of long walks and shared dreams. With a reception planned at Fiorella, a restaurant they visited on one of their first dates, they crafted a wedding that felt beautifully, unmistakably them.

Many friends and family flew from Atlanta to join them in celebrating the transition into marriage. From the personal touch of each guest sharing a blessing over Olivia and Nick's wedding rings as they were passed around to their marigold planting ceremony, the ceremony was filled with intention to reflect the uniqueness of their relationship.

Following the ceremony, Olivia and Nick mingled with their guests and spent time chatting with everyone. Truly one of the best parts of an intimate wedding is the time spent with all of your guests.

Cocktail hour moments

While guests began their walk to nearby Fiorella for the reception, Olivia and Nick snuck away for some newlywed portraits. Soaking in the bliss of their vows, they explored more of the beautiful botanical gardens together as the San Francisco fog rolled in.

After a short walk down the street, we arrived at Fiorella, an Italian restaurant that hosted one of their early dates. The couple rented the upper floor and had it decked out for their reception. Speeches from their moms and besties meant the room was full of the kind of laughter and love you can feel.
