As photographers, we always love getting the opportunity to capture special moments in people's lives. That's why we were thrilled when Fidel reached out to photograph his proposal to his partner at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art while they were visiting from Canada.
As they approached a tunnel and art exhibit, One-Way Colour Tunnel, (a long arched walkway sculpture) created by Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, Fidel got down on one knee and proposed to Jenees. It was an emotional moment for both of them and Jenees's surprise was so genuine.

Fidel and Jenees's love for each other was evident from the moment we met them. As we walked around the museum, they told us about their relationship and how they met. It was clear that they were meant to be together.

After the proposal and some photos around the museum, we headed to Yerba Buena Garden for some more portraits. The garden was a beautiful setting, with an incredible combination of greenery and urban vibes to serve as a backdrop for our shots.
Fidel and Jenees were a joy to work with, and their love for each other was infectious.

As photographers, we love getting the opportunity to capture these types of moments. It's always a privilege to be able to document love and happiness, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to do so.
Fidel and Jenees's proposal was a beautiful reminder of the power of love, and we are excited to see what the future holds for them. We wish them all the best as they begin this new chapter in their lives together.
