We are thrilled to share another one of our 2022 couples with you! Anna and Jon clicked with us from our very first chat. We loved hearing about their relationship - from meeting at work to getting engaged in Turks and Caicos to adding a fur child to their family. As we began planning their engagement session, Anna and Jon shared they were hoping for a location that was tropical looking. Up to the challenge, we found the perfect location for them!
Anna and Jon actually used to live not far from Lake Merritt! They frequented the Lake and enjoyed the gardens themselves, but little did they know that in the back corner is a palm garden.
The true star of their portraits was Belle, their corgi puppy! Though very petite, she is full of so much energy and life. She kept all of us on our toes in the gardens.
This February afternoon was not only marked by their engagement portraits, but by their marriage, too. Anna slipped into her bridal gown and Jon assisted her with the buttons. You would have no idea this intimate moment happened in the middle of Oakland.
Anna and Jon's engagement portrait session was filled with laughter, sunshine, and so much love within the tropical oasis in Oakland.
We can't wait to celebrate with them in October!
