We have known Sarah for about five years. In that time, we have explored Minneapolis and many coffee shops and taken numerous photos with her. Now, she’s moved to Hawaii. Since moving to the island of Maui, she’s found a guy…
Sarah & Henry have been together since December! In July, the happy couple took a break from their islands to hang out with family and friends in Georgia, South Dakota, Iowa, and of course, good ole’ Minnesota! And that leads us to this beautiful set of photos.
Mid-morning, on a rather hot and humid day, we adventured to North Loop in Minneapolis. This area of Minneapolis has become our absolute favorite for urban sessions. We’ve been raving about it a lot on social media, but we think these photos really share the point. North Loop highlights Minneapolis architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Many of these buildings are converted warehouses which are now home to local businesses!
There is no shortage of parking lots, alleys, and random places to snuggle.
Urban adventures have become some of our favorite to capture.
We also love the businesses in North Loop! We made a quick stop into Hewing Hotel and felt so welcomed by all of the staff. Hewing Hotel is a great example of the converted warehouses in North Loop. It made for a great spot to cool down from a hot July day, too!
While walking around Minneapolis, we ended up at Stone Arch Bridge, the former railroad bridge that is now a pedestrian bridge over the Mississippi River. An iconic stop for portraits made a nice addition to Sarah & Henry’s photos!
We are so glad we got to run around Minneapolis with Sarah & Henry! Their joy was contagious and made for a wonderful session that we won’t soon forget. We can’t wait to visit you in Maui in December - it can’t come soon enough!
