Jessica & Jeremy’s wedding day was a truly memorable day. We had been watching the weather closely as the days leading up to it were filled with scattered showers. That morning, we looked like we were in the clear. As we arrived at Gardens of Castle Rock, there was not a single cloud in sight! We found both Jessica & Jeremy surrounded with many close friends and family as they prepared to see each other for the first time on their wedding day!

As the morning continued, we checked in on the weather again. Storms were on their way. We hustled our way out for the first look as the thunder began to rumble…

And of course, the moment Jess touched Jeremy’s shoulder to signal him to turn around and they kissed, the floodgates opened. The rain downpour began as we ran umbrellas to the couple. Their excitement was so clear even through the rain.

We waited out as much of the rain as we could, but snagged a few photos under the cover of the bridal cottage to pass some of the time.

Eventually, the storm passed. The grass dried quickly from the slight breeze and sunshine. The whole wedding party joined us right where Jess & Jeremy first saw each other that day. Their joy spread across their faces as they posed with friends and family who got to stand by their sides!

We snuck Jessica & Jeremy aside for some extra photo time before the ceremony began. The Gardens of Castle Rock have 4 different ceremony sites, so we visited a few of them for many photos of just the two of them! There were so many romantic settings that we could have spent all day out exploring and finding spots to have done photos with just Jess & Jeremy!

Their ceremony took place at the Lath House at the Gardens. A beautiful, wooded area with fairy lights hanging overhead. The cloudy skies and twinkling lights created such an intimate atmosphere for Jess & Jeremy to exchange their very moving vows with each other.

We’re a big fan of capturing details at weddings and Jessica & Jeremy’s day is no exception. From the eucalyptus around the venue, beautiful place settings, and a donut wall, they put in so much time and energy into having a day that was memorable.

Jess & Jeremy are definitely a couple who know how to have fun. In fact, they first met at a karaoke bar. Jeremy was singing and Jess winked at him from across the room while giving him “finger guns”. She then went up to him after the song and at the end of the night he asked her to go on a date.. and the rest is history!

The party started shortly after dinner and toasts were finished. Their reception would not have been complete with a little karaoke from the groom himself!

As with many of our couples, we snuck Jess & Jeremy out for some extra portrait time during the reception. However, rather than the typical golden hour or sunset photos, we brought them back to the ceremony space. We captured the final moments of their wedding day in the very place that they shared their vows just hours before.
