Overcast October Wedding | Abby & Brad - Trevor and Elisebeth - San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photo and Video Team

On a drizzly, overcast October Saturday, Abby and Brad began the preparations for their wedding days in their parents’ homes. Both Abby and Brad were surrounded with friends and family as they put the finishing touches on their wedding looks before heading to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waconia, Minnesota.

As the pews of the beautiful church were filled, the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their way down the aisle. Brad showed pure excitement as Abby walked down the aisle to him.

With a large wedding party filled with friends and family, we squeezed in everyone really close in the front of the sanctuary. It sure gives off a lot of cozy vibes! Heading outside, as the rain slowed and the pavement began to dry, we got some fun photos in front of St. Joseph’s beautiful brick exterior.

Portrait time with Abby and Brad was a blast! Between Abby’s stunning lace on her wedding dress and her cathedral length wedding veil, we knew we could really get creative with their portraits. We started at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and then drove over to Schram’s Vineyards Winery & Brewery. These two locations felt like a beautiful summation of Abby and Brad; enjoying the great outdoors and hitting up a brewery!

After enjoying some delicious beverages, we all headed over to the reception at Oak Ridge Hotel & Conference Center. Abby and Brad planned beautiful details to highlight the location’s natural beauty.

A grand entrance, toasts, and cake cutting, oh my! One of our favorite details of the wedding day were their wedding favors: apple cider mini donuts from one of their favorite food trucks, North Star Donuts! We loved this unique, fun, and personal touch!
