Heather and Aaron joined us in beautiful Santa Cruz for couple portraits to celebrate their 7 year anniversary! We met them at Lighthouse Field State Beach (also known as Point Santa Cruz) for some low-key, laidback vibes on camera. We adventured through pathways among the Monterey Cypress trees that are so well known in this area.
As we made our way down to the beach, it was filled with many people taking in the sunset and enjoying the serenity of the ocean. Little did Heather know, but Aaron had more than *just* portraits in mind when scheduling photos with us. He had a very important question to ask! Aaron dropped to one knee and it seemed as if they were the only two on the beach in that moment.
Aaron proposed with a ring pop. He told us when initially planning the proposal that Heather had always said he could propose with a ring pop and she'd say yes (and that all he'd have to do is replace it weekly). Their love is meant to last - whether the ring pop does or not.
