Linda and Mark shared with us the very first time we chatted with them about getting their engagement portraits done near water. Mark had romantically proposed to Linda at Lake Tahoe, so they wanted to reference this comfort, desire, and appreciation for the water in this stage of their relationship, too!

Rather than making the trek to Lake Tahoe, we drove along the Pacific coastline to a little beach in Half Moon Bay. Before going down to the water, we took the Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail to a grove of cypress trees. Among the trees, Linda and Mark got cozy to help fight against the wind before heading over to the cliffside to view the ocean below.

We headed down to the water and the happy couple frolicked through the sand. As sand slid into their shoes, they ditched them and headed for the waves. On a very frigid evening, they braved the cool temperatures and freezing water to have a little fun splashing back and forth as the waves came and went.
